Rekindling the Lost

Somewhere along the way we lose the connections that once upon a time used to be a treasure. Maybe even now you might see it as one, but in reality it has lost its glamorous shine. The reasons are always endless. No matter what kind of relationship- family, friends, romantic, teacher/student etc, they all have one thing in common: distance.
On a personal level, currently even I can proudly say that I have fallen victim in its hands. Not noticing the connections slip by as time pass. But as they all say every problem will always have a solution. And thus I have barely managed to find mine; sending a simple text or ringing them up. Bagging away all our pride, it doesn't require a small heart shattering sign of an oncoming massive apocalypse that could wipe out the entire planet to let someone you cherish a lot know how much you miss them. To let them know that they had a huge impact on our lives, however big or small, memories made with them will always be the happiest. Be it everyday, once a week or once a month. Even if they reply or not, unforgivable or forgotten, enemy or best friend, close or not, they still had a role in your life.
And someday, you'd be glad you had done it because regret can be a massive burden that weighs you down.
But hope is a cloud that can put a smile on your face :)
P.S. To all of my friends who helped me grow, is there by my side, have recently become close, have just met, is still connected, has taken the pain to connect with me or remembers me, I am so very glad and grateful that you were/are/will be a apart of my life forever more. I miss you all <3
