SUNFLOWER

changes are what makes one closer to what they want / shall this year be that of self healing / where you begin to love yourself / spreading your warmth to those in need / focusing on happiness and growth / like the sunlight to a sunflower / let your heart lead you in life

MYSTIC VOICE

I hear you / your voice that sounds full of breath / those notes that make my hairs stand up / chills that run down my spine in not knowing where it was from / I heard you / this time it wasn't just your voice / the soothing tunes from the banned room / that lifted my nightmares and filled with dreams / let me meet you / because I now hear your heart / and see I did / you sat there with your heart in your hands / fingers on that cello / you were mesmerising / a miracle of colours and emotions / everyday I could see you / from dawn through twilight till dusk / though your eyes I had longed / those that never took of from the strings / but when they did you took it all with you / your haunting presence / your mystic voice / the heart you had shown

ROSES & RAINDROPS

a mystery, I thought / my curiousity pulling me around the neck before it could / the sadness of these skies would make my heart die too / but I want to know / how frail would I go when I felt that of the heavens too / the bright petals of red I had found solace on / those that had thorns too / and they fell / she began to cry, tears that were cold and light / my touch made me lose my bright / but I didn't mind / for my heart last smiled knowing there is beauty in what do die

THE SAILOR

I had been on these seas for long / looking for something that I had longed / there were days I wished you had seen how much I kept struggling / there were nights I hoped you would eventually reach out to me / though it was out of sympathy / but then I wouldn't yearn for you / for I somehow knew my world was as closed as yours was too / and then a day came where I felt a tug on my strings / I don't know, maybe you too yearned to be found / so hard that you would rather let me have you than anyone else / and indeed you did / I had, that day, captured your heart and you had stepped into my worl
